Can you mark 28 years of action on poverty with a farewell donation?

Church Action on Poverty's Chief Executive Officer Niall Cooper is leaving this summer.

For 28 years, Niall and this organisation have stood alongside people in poverty, working to reclaim dignity, agency and power together. If you'd like to mark this milestone, Niall invites you to make a donation towards Church Action on Poverty's ongoing work.

Niall has built partnerships across the churches, communities and the charity sector, delivering real change. He helped Church Action on Poverty take the lead in initiatives like: the Pilgrimage Against Poverty; the Debt On Our Doorstep campaign that ultimately led to regulation of extortionate high-cost lenders; the Living Ghosts campaign that mobilised churches to stand alongside people seeking sanctuary; participatory budgeting; sustainable livelihoods; community organising; Self-Reliant Groups; Get Fair; End Hunger UK; and Let's End Poverty.

We wish Niall every happiness in the future, and thank him for his dedication to ending poverty in the UK. And the work continues!

Could you mark this special occasion by making a donation to help us carry on the work that has been so important to Niall? A donation of £28 - a pound for every year he has spent here - could make a big difference. Or you could match Niall's long-term commitment by setting up a regular direct debit. All of your donations will help more people to reclaim dignity, agency and power.
